Fulbright Australia, United Kingdom, U.S. (AUKUS) Award

The Fulbright AUKUS Scholar Award seeks to support projects that engage the opportunities and challenges of the AUKUS partnership. Announced in 2021, AUKUS is a trilateral security partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States intended to "promote a free and open Indo-Pacific that is secure and stable."

Fulbright Anne Wexler Scholarship in Public Policy (funded by the Department of Education)

This scholarship enables a U.S. postgraduate student with strong academic credentials and leadership potential to undertake a two-year Master’s degree in Australia in an area that supports Wexler’s bi-national interests in the field of public policy. These may include key areas such as health, sustainability, energy, climate change, regional security, education, political science, history or governmental relations.

Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship (funded by Deakin University)

The U.S Fulbright Postdoctoral Scholarship (funded by Deakin University) enables postdoctoral candidates from the U.S to undertake research that is strategically aligned with Deakin's research strengths at Deakin University, Victoria, Australia. This award supports a 3-10 month position.

Open to academics at the level of associate professor or full professor, the Fulbright Scholar Award (funded by Curtin University) will enable exceptional U.S. scholars to undertake research of importance to the bilateral relationship between Australia and the United States in the areas of resources and energy.

Fulbright Scholar Award (funded by the University of Wollongong)

Fulbright Scholar Awards (funded by the University of Wollongong) will enable outstanding academics from the United States to undertake research with University of Wollongong academic teams on areas of mutual benefit to Australia and the United States. The award recipients will spend up to four months working in Wollongong, one of Australia's most picturesque university locations, conveniently located 60 minutes from Sydney. There are two positions available annually.
