Fulbright Scholar Award
About the Award
The Fulbright Scholar Award (funded by the University of Canberra) enables exceptional U.S. scholars to undertake research at the University of Canberra in key research areas. This award is open to academics at the level of associate professor and full professor, providing awardees with the opportunity to contribute to the bilateral relationship between Australia and the United States as well as the research priorities of UC.
In addition to conducting research, awardees are encouraged to collaborate with faculty and students through activities such as consulting on curriculum, participating in graduate/faculty seminars, or giving guest lectures or workshops. Applications should demonstrate plans for such activities. Please note that paid work cannot be undertaken in Australia while on a Fulbright Scholarship in accordance with visa regulations, and thus awardees cannot teach intensive seminars or coursework.
