Fulbright Scholar Award
Funded by the University of Notre Dame Australia
About the Award
The Fulbright Scholar Award (funded by the University of Notre Dame Australia) enables outstanding academics from the United States to undertake research at the University of Notre Dame Australia. Proposals are sought in areas that address significant topics or issues relevant to UNDA and foster the relationship between Australia and the United States. This award is open to academics at the level of associate professor and full professor. Awardees will spend four months working at one of Notre Dame Australia’s campuses (Fremantle, Broome, or Sydney).
In addition to conducting research, awardees are encouraged to collaborate with faculty and students through activities such as consulting on curriculum, participating in graduate/faculty seminars, or giving guest lectures or workshops. Applications should demonstrate plans for such activities. Please note that paid work cannot be undertaken in Australia while on a Fulbright Scholarship in accordance with visa regulations, and thus awardees cannot teach intensive seminars or coursework.
