Fulbright Northern Territory Scholarship
About the Award
This award supports research relevant to the Northern Territory and assists in building international research links between the Northern Territory and the United States. This award offers outstanding researchers the opportunity to broaden their professional, educational, and cultural horizons, and to then return and share the experience with their local community.
This award is supported by the Northern Territory government, Charles Darwin University, and the Menzies School of Health Research. It is open to postgraduate, postdoctoral, and scholar applicants.

Must provide an award statement in the application which clearly outlines the benefit of the proposed program of research to a topic or issue relevant to the Northern Territory.
About the Sponsor
The Northern Territory is in situated in the northern-central area of Australia with the coastal borders facing the Timor Sea, the Arafura Sea and the Gulf of Carpentaria. Approximately 48% of the Northern Territory land is Aboriginal land.
Charles Darwin University’s main campus is in the city of Darwin, focused on collaboration with First Nations peoples, our communities and industries, government, with goals of addressing the needs of the Northern Territory and regional, rural, and remote people nationally and globally.
The Menzies School of Health Research is an independent research institute improving health outcomes through strong community partnerships across Australia and the Asia-Pacific. It advances health equity through research excellence and capacity building.
