My Fulbright research looks to develop contextually relevant outcome measures within parenting programs for First Nations parents, as grounded in First Nations parents’ values, ways of knowing and being.
Alexandra Gregory is a PhD candidate at Charles Darwin University, researching how the perspectives of First Nations parents can inform the design and evaluation of parenting programs. Her work focuses on understanding the concept of ‘believing in yourself as a parent’ in remote Northern Territory communities.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Alexandra will collaborate with global leaders at the Colorado School of Public Health to develop a parent outcome measure grounded in First Nations families’ experiences.
