My Fulbright research aims to initiate a joint US-Australian research program to study the East Antarctic Ice Sheet and its potential for contributing to global sea level rise.

Professor Sridhar Anandakrishnan studies the glaciers and ice sheets of Antarctica and Greenland to understand their response to human-caused changes in the environment. His research focuses on improving projections of glacier volume to help society and policymakers anticipate sea level rise.

As a Fulbright Scholar, Sridhar will work with the University of Tasmania’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies to establish a joint US-Australian research program, aiming to study the East Antarctic Ice Sheet and its potential contribution to global sea level rise.
