Professor Paul Gribben

Paul is a marine ecologist and Director of the Center for Marine Science and Innovation at the University of New South Wales, and a former Australian Research Council Future Fellow. Paul’s research is focused on understanding the response of coastal marine ecosystems to environmental change and employing cross-disciplinary approaches to building more resilient marine ecosystems.

Paul will use his Fulbright Scholarship to provide a new understanding of how microbes and genetics influence the performance of threatened marine plants. This research will offer novel approaches for restoring marine plants globally.
