My Fulbright research will advance understanding of ocean-atmosphere interactions over the Southern Ocean to improve weather models in this high latitude region. This research includes atmospheric sampling and measurements of mineral dust and sea spray aerosol as part of the 2024-2025 Cloud and Precipitation Experiment at Kennaook (CAPE-k) in Tasmania.

Dr. Kerri Pratt is a Professor of Chemistry and Earth & Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan. She leads research on chemical interactions of atmospheric trace gases, aerosols, and clouds in high-latitude environments.

As a Fulbright Scholar, Kerri will study aerosol-cloud interactions over the Southern Ocean, contributing to the 2024–2025 Cloud and Precipitation Experiment at Kennaook(Cape Grimm), Tasmania.
