Australia is a global leader in recognizing the benefits that nature provides to people and the economy. By comparing innovative natural capital investment approaches in Australia with U.S. initiatives, my Fulbright research will identify opportunities for cross-national learning to enhance natural capital management.
Dr. Drew Bennett is the Whitney MacMillan Professor of Private Lands Stewardship at the University of Wyoming. His work focuses on balancing agricultural production with conservation efforts on private and working lands.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Drew will study Australian and American approaches to natural capital investment, exploring how these strategies can support rural livelihoods while preserving natural resources like water and wildlife.
