The goal of my research is to empower educators with the resources they need to provide high-quality education about the HPV vaccination to young people.

Natalie McGowan is a researcher at the University of Sydney studying the implementation of school-based HPV vaccination programs in Australia. Her work focuses on co-designing professional development modules for teachers and healthcare staff to improve HPV vaccine education. Natalie’s ultimate goal is to become an adolescent medicine physician, advocating for the health of young people through evidence-based interventions.

Natalie’s Fulbright research will empower educators with the resources they need to provide high-quality education about the HPV vaccination to young people.
