Social and environmental determinants are foundational drivers of health outcomes, and research evaluating these factors impacts the greater population. My Masters will impart me with research skills to explore the intersectionality between health and climate, family and domestic violence and global conflict to better inform health policy and advance practice.
Sanchita is a resident doctor at Royal Perth Hospital and is interested in pursuing a career in Public Health Medicine. She graduated from The University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and has a strong aptitude for health advocacy, leadership and research.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Sanchita will pursue a Master of Public Health in Quantitative Methods at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, with a focus on addressing the intersectionality between health and the environment, family and domestic violence and global conflict through epidemiological research.
