My Fulbright research aims to enhance the capacity of forensic and police social workers, with a focus on specialist capabilities and clinical knowledge needed to support complex and early-offending youth populations.

Dr. Dimi Lattas is a social work academic at the University of the Sunshine Coast, specialising in criminal justice and forensic social work education. Passionate about developing innovative teaching practices, Dimi was named Australia’s Social Work Researcher of the Year in 2024 and won the US Albert Roberts Award from the National Organization of Forensic Social Work.

Dimi’s Fulbright research focuses on advancing forensic social work education in Australia.
