My Fulbright postdoctoral research fellowship will be with the NYU Langone Health Institute for Innovations in Medical Education, exploring how advanced AI can support high fidelity clinical training and decision making, with the goal of translating these approaches back to Australian healthcare and ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
Dr Brandon Stretton is a respiratory registrar and clinician scientist dedicated to improving patient care by making health systems smarter, safer and more equitable. Based in South Australia, he combines clinical medicine with research in artificial intelligence, health informatics and medical education.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Brandon will undertake research at NYU Langone Health to explore how advanced AI can deliver high fidelity clinical education, personalised feedback and decision support. Driven by the belief that better training is one of the most scalable ways to lift outcomes, he aims to translate these methods back to Australian healthcare for patients.
