My Fulbright research aims to understand the sources of aerosols and how they change the atmosphere, altering cloud formation and properties, which is critical to understanding our environment.
Dr. Andrew Ault is an Associate Professor of Chemistry at the University of Michigan, specialising in atmospheric aerosols and their impact on human health. Using advanced microspectroscopic techniques, his research examines aerosols on the micro- and nano-scale.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Andrew will study aerosol-cloud interactions over the Southern Ocean, contributing to the 2024–2025 Cloud and Precipitation Experiment at Kennaook (Cape Grim), Tasmania.
