My Fulbright project aims to better protect people’s personal information in the cloud services they use every day. By strengthening privacy and security standards, the research helps ensure that data held by governments, businesses and online services remains safe, trusted and responsibly managed.
Professor Willy Susilo is a world-leading researcher in cybersecurity, cryptology, and information security. He is the Director of the Institute of Cybersecurity and Cryptology at the University of Wollongong and the recipient of a prestigious Australian Laureate Fellowship from the Australian Research Council. His research focuses on cloud computing security, advanced cryptographic techniques and privacy-preserving technologies.
Through his Fulbright project, Willy seeks to advance secure and interoperable cloud infrastructures by strengthening the alignment between cryptographic innovation, international standardisation efforts and national regulatory frameworks.
