My Fulbright aims to advance the translation of Indigenous research knowledge to policy, through working with Native American scholars and research communities, sharing research impact strategies from Australia and learning from Indigenous communities who lead their own research to inform policy development and program delivery.

Associate Professor Nikki Moodie is a Gomeroi sociologist with extensive experience in Indigenous policy research and leadership development. From 2020 to 2024, she served as Program Director of the Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity, a philanthropic initiative supporting Indigenous leadership.

As a Fulbright Scholar, Nikki will collaborate with Native American scholars to advance strategies for translating Indigenous research into impactful policies and programs.
